Is there anything “normal” about the new normal?

We’re cautiously stepping into unchartered territory, especially as we navigate through this new approach to life and work. But at Jane Lockhart Interior Design, our priorities are clear. First and foremost, our health is everything. We don’t have anything if we don’t have our health. So, every step forward requires measured thoughtfulness, and that’s what we are doing.

We’ve been fortunate to have continued to work throughout this crisis. We never stopped conducting our full-service design business. We’ve continued consultations – but instead of in person, we met with our clients online. Site visits have been reserved for hours when there is no construction and if we needed to meet with a client on site, we practiced extra safety protocols.

Our team has been fortunate enough to be able to work from home, social distancing in order to continue offering our professional design services and meet deadlines. But, we’re not willing to turn back the clock, and walk back into the office to carry on as usual, like before.

Our new office will have strict measures in place to protect our team, visiting clients and trades. We now offer masks and sanitizer to all visitors and we’re keeping track of visitors with a sign-in sheet, so we are able to conduct our own contact tracing, if necessary. Yes we’re taking this seriously.

We’ve also come to realize that ours is an industry that can still work with the same passion and energy as before, because we do it for the right reason, to help make our home your sanctuary. We truly believe our home should be a place of refuge.
