Bringing a big, modern feeling to a country home.
The family purchased a builder home in the country and wanted to customize it with their own personal touches. To suit the family’s taste, rooms were made to be more family-friendly, with updated colour, window coverings and custom furniture pieces. For the parents and their five children an open floor plan was ideal to enjoy their country surroundings.
Outdoor-themed art and photography adds interest and dimension, neutral-toned drapery frames the large windows and emphasizes room height.
Colour and layout was used to connect the main floor and maintain an open plan and flow. A wash and wear feel with quality materials included stained and painted solid maple cabinetry throughout the main floor.
The custom, round Platinum pedestal dining table takes center place. The subtle circle theme is repeated in the ceiling light and the art work.
